Participation in competitive sporting events in the university environment, in particular in competition formats organised by the German University Sports Federation (adh), offers students the opportunity to compete with other students in their sport and to represent their university. In addition, unique experiences can be gained and new contacts made.

The University Sports Centre (ZfH) supports participation in such competitive events with various services and benefits. In addition to registration for the adh's competitive sports events, which must be done through the University Sports Centre, participation in competitions can also be financially supported under certain conditions. The provision of university sports T-shirts or bibs for participation in competitions is also possible.
