Registration for adh competitions

All students and employees of both Osnabrück University and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences are eligible to participate in adh competitions. Secondary, part-time and guest students are not eligible to compete. Exmatriculated students may participate up to the end of the calendar year following a professionally qualifying degree.

The German University Sports Federation (adh) offers various competition formats.

The German University Championship (DHM) is the flagship of university sport at national level. The adh organises around 40 German University Championships in over 30 sports every year.

To participate in the final rounds of some German University Championships, teams must qualify via round-robin competitions. The preliminary and intermediate rounds take place in the adh regions. The match modes, dates and results of the round-robin matches for the current semester can be found in the current adh competition programme.

The adh-Open refers to the national events in sports that are not (yet) part of the official adh canon, but may aspire to be. In some individual sports, however, the adh-Open has also established itself as a competition level below the German University Championships, where the idea of performance is less of a priority.

The adh-Trophy is the event format for fun and trend sports. The focus here is on having fun and socialising with your own team and getting to know other students.

Registrations for adh competitive sports events are only possible via the University Sports Centre!

A completed registration form must be received by the University Sports Centre at least two weeks before the registration deadline. We cannot guarantee successful registration for adh competitions if registration forms are received later or are incomplete.

Financial support

When participating in adh competition events, the University Sports Centre will reimburse the entry fee on application. For German University Championships (DHM), a travel allowance can also be granted. The financial support must be applied for in advance by ticking the appropriate boxes on the entry form.

T-shirt and sports bib hire

For participation in competitive sports events, it is possible to borrow T-shirts or sportbibs with the university sports logo. Please get in touch with our contact person at the University Sports Centre.
