Registration procedure

General information

  • Eligible participants can usually register online one week before the start of the respective programme.
  • To register, it is necessary to provide your name, address and e-mail address as well as your matriculation number for students and your work telephone number for employees. For fee-based programmes, bank details are also required.
  • Payment of fees is made by direct debit.
  • At the end of the booking process, a window opens with a registration confirmation including a participation ticket. The participation ticket must be shown on request when attending the sports activities and is only valid in conjunction with an authorisation and photo ID.
  • Booked places are not transferable.

Registration for a sports programme

Unless otherwise stated in the text, the following procedure is used for all programmes requiring registration.

Booking a place on a sports programme is explained below using an aqua fitness course as an example:

  1. The quickest way to get to the specific course offer is to select the menu item "Sports activities" in our main navigation and then go to "sports programmes A to Z".
  2. Click on the letter "A" for aqua fitness and select the corresponding aqua fitness programme.
  3. Below the information on the aqua fitness programme is a booking table. Click on the green "Book" button to start the registration process for the relevant course. Important: The course place is not reserved when you click on the booking button, but is only allocated when the booking is finalised.
  4. A form will open in which the personal data must be entered. The fields marked with "*" are mandatory. If it is a paid course, the bank details must also be entered. Payment for the sports course is made by direct debit.
  5. You must then tick two boxes to agree to the conditions of participation, the processing of personal data and the direct debit.
  6. After clicking on "Continue to booking", the data can be checked again before the registration is finally sent. At this point it is possible to set a password. This has the advantage that you do not have to enter all the data again when booking further university sports programmes, but only need the e-mail address in conjunction with the password.
  7. By clicking on "book bindingly" or "book with costs", the booking is finalised and the data is transmitted to us.
  8. The confirmation of registration with the participation ticket for the booked course will now appear on the screen. This ticket must be brought to each course date together with your student or work ID. The ticket is non-transferable.


If the red "Infoservice" button appears in the booking table instead of the green "Book" button, the course is provisionally fully booked. It is possible to be informed about available places by clicking on the button and providing an e-mail address.
Important: Only an information e-mail will be sent that places have become available. If you are still interested in taking part, you must register as described above.
